At the time of this writing Jason Vargas was the listed starter for the Mets but was scratched overnight, Vargas is dealing with a calf strain and will not start today. We have not gotten a replacement, Chris Flexen from AAA Las Vegas was called up to take Vargas spot on the roster but we have no official announcement of who will start the final game of this series.

That performance came after a month off due to a blister and was by far the Hill’s best outing of the year.
